Captain Cook Monument located in Kealakekua Bay, is considered by many to be a top 10 snorkeling location in the world. The water is crystal clear, the reef is healthy, and the colorful fish and marine life are plentiful. It's a short 45 minute boat ride and you can choose to go by power boat, sailboat, catamaran, kayak or zodiak. Group Snorkeling trips are great for the families with kids as they serve lunch, snacks, drinks, have water slides and other toys. You can also join smaller 4 - 8 passenger trips or choose to reserve a boat for your groups own exclusive use. A Captain Cook Snorkeling Trip is a MUST DO activity while you are visiting the Big Island.
