We depart at 5pm (Check in at 430pm) so you can be on the ocean for the Sunset. Times may change with the seasons according to the time of sunset. As we motor out from Honokohau Harbor in Kona, Hawaii to the dive site (which is about 20-30’ deep) our crew will go over some fun facts about our Manta Rays and other specific information you will need for your adventure. As the sun sets and it turns into night, the flashlights come on and the ocean is lit up electric green like the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz. The Manta Rays come close and perform summersaults underneath you while they eat the plankton thatgets concentrated by the lights. Price includes: Mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, flotation devices, Poke, Ceviche, fish dip, soda, water, dry snacks, hot coffee and hot chocolate.

We are located at Honokohau Marina. The Marina is 5 miles south of Kona airport on the Big Island of Hawaii and 3-4 miles North of Kailua-Kona. At the traffic light intersection, take Kealakehe Parkway from the highway towards the Ocean. GPS user please note that there is more than one “Kealakehe!” Rest assured, you will see sailboat masts fro the highway and there’s a sign for Honokohau Marina. Take that road lined with coconut palms and go right at your first opportunity, then make your second left. Check In at “Bite Me Sportfishing”
