Join the friendly and knowledgeable crew of Jack’s Diving Locker on a Dolphin/Whale Watch & Snorkel cruise. We set out looking for residential pods of Spinner Dolphins that swim along the Kona coast in family groups of 50 – 100 animals. Occasionally, small groups of Bottlenose Dolphins say hello while swimming in the bow wake. During the winter months, we often view Humpback Whales from the boat. These magnificent mammals come to the warm welcoming waters of Hawaii to mate and give birth. Kona is also home to pods of Pilot Whales that travel a few miles offshore in the deep blue water. Join us for a glorious day on the boat while we cruise the coastline looking for these amazing cetaceans and slip into the water for some snorkeling on a coral reef.

| Bathing suit, towels, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and personal items. A lightweight jacket in winter months. Please use a waterproof, environmentally friendly sunscreen and apply it prior to arriving to increase its effectiveness and to reduce the amount of unabsorbed sunscreen ending up in the ocean. Reapply as needed throughout the day. While Kona usually has calmer seas than most places in the world, we recommend considering sea sickness medication before you dolphin swim, and consulting with your physician as needed. |
